What qualien.ai is
qualien is an early-stage AI assistant for software quality work. It's being built to generate test cases, review test automation, and surface quality insights — grounded in real testing knowledge rather than generic pattern-matching. I'm at the beginning of that build, and I'm being upfront about it: this is a young product, not an established platform with years of track record.
The problem I'm solving
General-purpose AI coding assistants can write code that looks like a test, but they aren't grounded in how testing is actually done. They don't reliably reason about coverage, flakiness, or the conventions of frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress — so testers end up spending as much time verifying AI output as they would have spent writing it themselves. qualien exists to close that gap by grounding AI recommendations in real testing practice, with sources you can check.
